Paltech Awarded Two New Contracts


Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane DivisionPaltech is pleased to announce the award of a training contract in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division. Paltech identified Stimulus early in the capture process as a frontrunner to win the Crane Workforce Development (CWFD) contract, released under the U.S. Navy Seaport-e contract vehicle. As a first tier subcontractor to Stimulus Engineering, Paltech’s recent proposal was selected for award to provide workforce development classroom-based instruction on Listening and Memory Development and Managing Multiple Priorities.

Training dates will be scheduled for delivery at the WestGate Training Facility in Crane, Indiana. WestGate is a brand new facility built to support the Crane NSWC workforce. We are recipients of the first round of task orders released under the CWFD contract and anticipate many more task orders in the future. Future task order releases will address training needs for Systems Engineering, Program Management, and Leadership – customized to Crane NSWC mission objectives.

These and subsequent CWFD awards will serve to expand Paltech’s capabilities in the Human Capital arena.


Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFC)

In addition, Paltech was also awarded a contract modification to expand the scope of work on our Advanced Foreign Area Officer (FAO) Language Enhancement Course with the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFC). Under this contract, we are developing the FAO course which will help Joint Foreign/Area Officers develop advanced cultural and language competency through exposure to key terminology, lexicology, and cultural cues.

The new courseware will consist of approximately 150 hours of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) in six foreign languages including: Korean, Spanish, Russian, French, Arabic, and Chinese.

The FAO Language Skill Enhancement Courses will be offered in three versions: self-paced IMI; Web-based, synchronous instructor led Blended Training; and Web-based asynchronous instructor facilitated Blended Training.
