Challenge
The client required contractor support across the full range of Corporate Systems’ activities—research, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT software solutions supporting the business processes of FSI.
Solution
Paltech provided operational management of the Institute’s official training and support systems, to include application and database design, website design, and helpdesks. The IT activities we supported included GOTs, COTS, and hybrid software applications and development languages [VB, VB.Net, ASP.Net, C#, Windows platforms, classic ASP, Javascript, VBscript, Access, SQL Server, and Internet-accessible apps (Learn.com)]. We developed and maintained FSI’s corporate training management database application and the Student Training Management Suite (STMS) of applications, as well as the Learning Management System (LMS) and collaboration software in support of FSI’s roles as a government-wide e-Training and Cyber Security service provider. Paltech also developed and maintained government accessible websites related to training: FSIWeb, HR Performance Awards management, interagency Joint Security Awareness Solution (JSAS), and Skills Incentive Pay (SIP) Management.
Result
Throughout the course of this contract, Paltech maintained exceptional retention rates for key and critical personnel, and played a critical role in modernizing STMS, FSI LearnCenter, and FSI Web.
